Dana Shortt Gourmet

Dana originally started her work in catering because she wanted to share her creativity and passion for food with people during the important moments in their lives.  She wanted to create delicious and unique dishes for people to enjoy that they couldn’t get anywhere else. As her catering business grew, her clients began requesting her dishes for themselves and their families and that’s when she knew she wanted to bring gourmet food home.

My goal in opening Dana Shortt Gourmet and Gifts in 2004 was not to create another food and gift shop; it was to curate a unique customer experience.

Dana is always looking for new product lines that would excite her customers and carry exclusive, quality products in her shop. At Dana Shortt, their food philosophy is driven by the local farmers and artisans and her dishes are made by hand, using quality ingredients and featuring local flavours whenever possible.
