Aroma Cafe

Monica and Jeff have lived in KW for most of their lives. Monica had been a frequent visitor to Aroma Cafe before starting to work there. When she was approached by the owner about buying the cafe, it seemed like the right next step. Jeff had worked in the KW food industry for 14+ years and Monica had worked in food services and retail throughout the years. They had the experience, work ethic, and energy to learn. Jeff had been looking for a new challenge and Monica was ready for some empowerment! Coffee roasting and small-business ownership was it. Running a quaint and cozy space had also been shared dream of Monica and Jeff's since they were teenagers.

"We want folks to be able to rest and savour their time at our cafe, maybe read a book in the corner, or bring a friend along for some "tea”. It creates such a warmth in our hearts when we see familiar faces returning throughout the week and years. We love our KW community with our whole hearts. We've learned so much about who we are as individuals, a couple, and as a business through the actions and support of those around us. We also love cats!”
